Job summary

Oakpark Security Systems LTD is seeking a Security Operations Controller in Colchester to safeguard sites and respond promptly to incidents. You will monitor CCTV, manage alarms, and coordinate with the control room team on 42 hours per week across a 4-on/4-off roster.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, strong communication, and competence with TrackTik/Chase systems. You will help maintain security standards and deliver professional service to clients while adhering to procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in Helpdesk, Call Centre or Control Room operations.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office and bespoke software.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls into the Operations Control Room.
• Action calls as required.
• Monitor emails in a centralised box and take appropriate action.
• Ensure SLA targets are met and report incidences.
• Maintain and display a valid SIA licence.
• Maintain electronic databases such as TrackTik and Chase.
• Produce shift handover documentation and daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to incidents per procedures.
• Escalate issues when required and coordinate with partners.
