Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is hiring a CCTV Controller to oversee proactive operation of CCTV and security systems at a site. You will work in 4-on-4-off teams of two, reporting to the Security Manager, with responsibilities spanning incident escalation, clear communication, and thorough documentation.

The role requires SIA CCTV/Door Supervisor license, ACT Awareness, and SCaN for CCTV Operators, plus strong problem-solving and communication skills. Right to work in the UK is essential.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK is essential.
• SIA CCTV/Door Supervisor license is required.
• ACT Awareness training is expected.
• SCaN for CCTV Operators certification is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and decision making.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Ensure clear, accurate communication and transmission of information.
• Follow the correct escalation process for incidents, maintaining logs.
• Deploy security resources to handle incidents and enquiries.
• Proactively operate CCTV, conduct daily site activity risk assessments, maintain CCTV records.
• Operate fire alarm, PA, VMS, Intruder/Panic Alarms, BMS, ANPR, radio and phone systems.
• Implement emergency procedures per the Incident and Emergency Plan.
• Document complaints and incidents clearly and professionally.
