Job summary

Aspion is seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor for a Coventry site. This hands-on role oversees daily operations during the shift, manages a team of permanent and agency staff, and ensures health & safety, quality, stock and productivity standards are met.

You will work 6PM-6AM, 3 on-3 off, and be responsible for shift reporting, training and development, and liaison with other departments and customers. Prior supervisory experience in manufacturing/logistics is required.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in busy operations.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations during your shift.
• Manage and support a team of permanent and agency staff.
• Organise labour and ensure proper staffing for the shift.
• Ensure productivity and quality targets are met each day.
• Oversee stock movement, goods in/out and stock control.
• Complete shift reports and maintain up-to-date performance data.
• Lead team briefs and support staff training and development.
• Handle attendance, holidays, timesheets and disciplinary matters when required.
