Job summary

Technical Network has been retained to find an experienced Night Shift Production Manager for a large Worcestershire manufacturing site. The role leads a night shift team with shift managers and skilled operatives, reporting to the Operations Director.

You will drive SQCDP reviews, SOP/KPI implementation, and continuous improvement while developing your team and upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC in engineering or technical discipline.
• ILM and ISOH training advantageous.
• Experience managing a large production facility.
• Lean Manufacturing / Continuous Improvement experience.
• Union environment exposure is advantageous.
• Proven leadership, delegation, coaching and communication skills.
• Night shift Monday to Friday availability.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations using the SQCDP review; implement improvements where possible.
• Develop and grow direct reports and the team to build a positive environment.
• Implement and review SOPs and KPIs across the department.
• Manage and mentor a diverse team, fostering engagement and growth.
• Drive a strong health and safety culture on site.
• Lead and drive Continuous Improvement activities.
