Job summary

Kerv Connect Cloud is seeking a Network & Security Support Engineer to join the Network Support Team. This night-shift role focuses on delivering out-of-hours planned work and handling P1/P2 incidents for customer environments across the UK.

You will work with SD-WAN, firewalls, routing, and ISP management, providing advanced incident support, change implementation, and thorough documentation while collaborating with providers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of network and security support experience.
• Familiarity with ITIL Service Principles.
• SD-WAN deployment and troubleshooting.
• Experience with firewall policies, IPS/IDS, web filtering.
• Advanced routing (OSPF, BGP, MPLS) and switching (L2/L3).
• ISP circuit management and DNS/DHCP/IPAM basics.
• Proactive documentation and knowledge sharing.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced network and security incident support and service requests.
• Lead change requests and project tasks.
• Perform maintenance, software upgrades, and hardware replacements.
• Resolve P1/P2 incidents and coordinate with providers.
• Troubleshoot complex networking/security issues across customer environments.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and share knowledge within the team.
