Job summary

Noble Foods is seeking a Multi-Skilled Engineer to maintain and improve our automated production environment at the Leicester AV site. Based on nights, you will respond to breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and work with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency.

You should bring electrical and/or mechanical qualifications, an apprenticeship, and at least 3 years in an automated production setting, ideally within FMCG or food sectors.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled engineer with Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications.
• Recognised apprenticeship (highly desirable).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an automated production environment.
• Experience in FMCG, food, or brewery sectors (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• A commitment to continuous improvement and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Responding quickly to breakdowns and minimising downtime.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing.
• Supporting installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Driving improvements in OEE, machine performance, and reliability.
• Working cross-functionally to enhance production standards.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and supporting audit readiness.
• Identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical solutions.
• Championing Health & Safety, GMP, and site hygiene standards.
