Job summary
Noble Foods, home of the Happy Egg Co., seeks a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join our Leicester Added Value site, maintaining and improving our automated production environment. You’ll respond to breakdowns, deliver preventative maintenance, and collaborate across teams to drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
You’ll drive OEE improvements, support installation and commissioning of new equipment, and uphold GMP and site hygiene standards while pursuing continuous development
Qualifications
- Electrical and/or mechanical qualifications at NVQ/City & Guilds level or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an automated production environment.
- Experience in FMCG/food/brewery sectors preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Responsibilities
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise downtime.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing.
- Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Drive improvements in OEE, machine performance and reliability.
- Work cross-functionally to enhance production standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation and support audit readiness.
- Identify inefficiencies and implement practical solutions.
- Champion Health & Safety, GMP and site hygiene standards.
