Job summary

Ornua Nantwich site is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to maintain production machinery, carry out planned maintenance, and support safety and reliability targets.

You will diagnose faults, attend breakdowns, repair equipment, manage spare parts and work with production teams to minimise downtime. Relevant qualifications in engineering and PLC knowledge are essential, with experience in food manufacturing preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of Level 3 qualification in Engineering/Maintenance (or equivalent).
• Experience in a Food Production environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills relevant to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Attend breakdowns and repair in a safe and timely manner.
• Maintain accurate service records and paperwork; update shift handover.
• Assist with setup to minimise production downtime and train operatives where needed.
• Ensure SOPs are followed and health & safety requirements are met.
