Job summary

PURFLUX GROUP in Tredegar, United Kingdom, is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support warehouse and production. The role requires experience in material handling, the ability to work unsupervised, and teamwork across shifts. Flexi Truck and Tow Tug experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Forklift (essential). Flexi Truck & Tow Tug (ideal).
• Equipment operation: operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Attention to detail with inventory tracking and documentation.
• Basic math for inventory management and reporting.
• Computer & SAP skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfer of raw materials and components from the warehouse to the relevant production area, ensuring designated storage and computer transaction for every movement.
• Inventory management: maintain accurate records, conduct stock counts, report discrepancies.
• Material movement: operate forklifts and equipment to load/unload materials and move them to storage and production lines.
• Quality control: inspect materials for damages and ensure good condition before storage or dispatch.
• Work unsupervised in production and stores areas; interact with all levels of personnel.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize accidents and maintain a safe working environment.
