Job summary

Greencore Spalding Meals in Spalding is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to maintain and optimise our processing and packaging equipment across three facilities and a distribution centre. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, support continuous improvement and ensure safe, reliable operation for customers.

The role requires an electrical bias, Level 2 Maths/English and an Engineering Apprenticeship, and involves night shifts on a 3 days, 2 nights pattern.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Maths/English and an Engineering Apprenticeship are required.
• IET Wiring Regs, Level 2 Food Safety, CMMS and contractor control training to be completed in year one.
• Multiskilled with an electrical bias and strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in fault finding, maintenance planning, IT systems and working to SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise processing and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs.
• Support continuous improvement and maintain engineering documentation.
• Assist with equipment changeovers, set-ups and adjustments.
• Ensure safe, reliable operation of equipment for customers.
