Job summary

Tesco Shift Lead Night role in Manchester is seeking a proactive retail leader to manage nightly store operations. You’ll supervise colleagues, ensure great customer service, and uphold standards during busy overnight shifts.

You’ll receive a base pay of £15.59–£16.86 per hour with a night premium of £2.35 per hour for eligible hours, a minimum guarantee of 16 hours per week, and flexible working opportunities. Applicants must be 18+ and able to lead the team in the Store Manager’s absence.

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain standards during shifts.
• Strong communication and decision-making under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate store team during night shifts.
• Coordinate tasks across departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Resolve issues quickly while maintaining high service levels.
• Monitor safety, compliance and stock levels during night hours.
• Support the Store Manager in absence and provide coaching to colleagues.
