Vanrath are recruiting an IT Service Desk Engineer for a three-week contract in Belfast. The role involves taking inbound calls from US-based financial clients, investigating tickets and delivering reliable Microsoft 365 support during a night shift (1am-10am).

Qualifications

• Prior IT Service Desk or IT Support experience.
• Strong Microsoft 365 troubleshooting experience.
• Excellent communication and telephone manner.
• Good problem-solving and analytical judgment.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Experience supporting financial-services environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Take incoming IT support calls from US-based financial-services users.
• Investigate and resolve technical support tickets promptly.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 issues (Outlook, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive).
• Support user access, authentication and Windows issues.
• Manage incidents, prioritize requests and maintain ticket records.
• Provide professional, reassuring support in a fast-paced environment.
