Job summary

Greenhous DAF Wolverhampton is seeking a skilled Nightshift HGV Technician to join our after-hours workshop team. You will service, maintain and repair HGVs and trailers to the highest standards.

The role requires diagnosing mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, completing MOT preparations, and working nights 6pm to 6am Tuesday to Friday. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and experience with HGVs are preferred.

Qualifications

• Servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Complete MOT preparations and inspections.
• Work to DAF and DVSA standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Work independently during night shifts with high productivity.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Complete MOT preparations and inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with DAF and DVSA standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Work independently during night shifts while maintaining high productivity.
