Job summary

Greenhous DAF Wolverhampton is seeking a skilled Nightshift HGV Technician to join the after-hours workshop team. You will service, repair and inspect HGVs and trailers to high standards, maintaining safety and uptime for fleets.

The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent and have experience with HGVs. Night shift work requires confidence, good diagnostics, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Qualified HGV Technician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Experience working on HGVs; DAF experience advantageous but not essential.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Complete MOT preparations and inspections.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with DAF and DVSA standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Work independently during night shifts while maintaining high productivity.
