Job summary

Greenhous DAF Wolverhampton is seeking a skilled Nightshift HGV Technician to join our after-hours workshop team. You’ll service, maintain and repair HGVs to the highest standards, keeping fleets on the road.

The role is night shifts Tue–Fri, 6pm to 6am; NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred; strong diagnostics and the ability to work independently. In return we offer competitive benefits and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified HGV Technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• Experience on HGVs is preferred, DAF experience advantageous but not essential.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills are required.
• Ability to work night shifts with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to high-quality workmanship and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and trailers.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Complete MOT preparations and inspections.
• Ensure work complies with DAF and DVSA standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and service documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop.
• Work independently during night shifts while maintaining high productivity.
