Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking a proactive Shift Lead to manage the fill operation in our store overnight. You will coordinate resources to ensure a ready-to-trade salesfloor and lead the team in the absence of the Colleague Manager.

This frontline role focuses on delivering a clean, safe store, high standards of customer service, and efficient opening/closing duties. Expect overnight shifts Sunday to Saturday with early responsibilities for stock and cash handling.

• Ability to coach and motivate colleagues to achieve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate resource to deliver operational tasks during fill operation.
• Lead the fill operation, coach colleagues on best practices and productivity.
• Allocate resources for quick payment experience.
• Ensure daily operational processes are implemented efficiently across area.
• Coordinate team to maintain a clean, safe and well-presented store.
• Model excellent customer service and company behaviours.
• Support nearby stores if required and be a key holder for opening/closing duties.
