Job summary

Focal Systems is expanding across the UK and seeks a dedicated Field Service Team Lead to oversee night-time installations for customer sites. You will lead on-site technicians, manage installation quality, and ensure safety and efficiency across multiple locations.

This 6-month fixed-term role requires a valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites. Expect night shifts and hands-on leadership to drive KPIs and successful deployments.

Qualifications

• Proven Field Service Technician experience, including supervising others
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities under time pressure
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills that meet SLAs

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of Field Service Technicians on site.
• Install camera hardware: mount, connect and configure per standards.
• Conduct pre-installation site checks and briefings.
• Be primary customer contact on site; escalate issues to meet SLAs.
• Review and sign off on completed installations to meet quality standards.
• Maintain accurate installation records using company tools.
• Onboard/scanning products into the system.
• Attend and lead night installations as required.
• Operate power tools safely; enforce safety protocols.
• Train and mentor team members to improve installation skills.
• Meet or exceed team KPIs for speed and quality.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors and clients.
