Job summary

Otis Worldwide Corporation is seeking an experienced escalator maintenance engineer for London Underground coverage. The role involves on-site breakdown repairs and proactive maintenance to ensure safe, continuous operation of escalator units within the TfL network.

The successful candidate will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering, have extensive maintenance experience, a valid UK driving license, and be comfortable working a Sunday-Thursday night shift (23:00–07:00).

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering with significant experience in service and maintenance of escalators.
• Experience with a variety of brands of escalator equipment.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Flexibility for overtime is required.
• Strong skills in mechanical and electrical engineering.
• Committed professional with safety as priority.
• Comfortable communicating to others; able to work alone or in a team.
• Familiar with using electronic and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Carry out breakdown and repair work on escalators within the portfolio to maintain continual operation.
• Work within the London Underground network, managing the escalator portfolio.
• Respond quickly to breakdowns with aim of first-time fix; liaise with customers on site.
