Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking a Night Shift Engineer for a commercial campus near Barbican. The role is permanent, paying £52,000 per year including shift allowance, with excellent benefits based on qualifications and experience.

The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance and will cover two nights, four off shifts on a busy campus. A strong multi-skilled profile and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Mechanically qualified (C&G or NVQ) and trade certificates.
• Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
• Must provide copies of trade certificates.
• Multi-skilled with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of M&E maintenance.
• Lighting: fault finding, lamping, ballast changes, control panels.
• Emergency lighting tests.
• Air conditioning: AHU/FCU maintenance and filter changes.
• Water treatment: temperature checks, not dosing.
• Plumbing: unblock toilets and minor fixes.
• BMS monitoring and control actions.
• Escort and organise sub-contractors as needed.
• Attend client meetings and keep site logs up to date.

Night Shift Engineer - Client Direct - Commercial Campus - Excellent Benefits - Barbican - £52,000

Exciting opportunity to work at a commercial campus situated by in Whitechapel. CBW are currently recruiting for a Night Shift Engineer to cover a commercial campus. The successful candidate will be mechanically qualified (C&G or NVQ) with a proven track record in commercial building maintenance. This is an ongoing permanent role and pays a yearly salary of £52,000 (including shift allowance) + excellent benefits based on qualifications and experience, inclusive of shift allowance.

Key duties & Responsibilities

• Carry out all aspects of M&E maintenance


• Lighting (Small installation, Fault-finding, Lamping, Changing ballast's, Control panel, Power distribution)


• Emergency lighting tests


• Air Conditioning - Air Handling Units / Fan Coil Unit (Filter changes, cleaning)


• Water Treatment (Temperature checks / Not dosing)


• Plumbing - Unblocking toilets


• BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & Colds)


• Escort / organise sub contractors


• Attend client meetings if required


• Ensure site log books are kept up to date

Hours of work

• 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off


• 07:00 - 19:00, 19:00pm - 07:00am

• Salary of £48,000 + £4,000 shift allowance
