Job summary

Vita Student in Lewisham is seeking a night-time Customer Service Assistant to deliver a warm, professional reception, manage parcels, and support residents during the overnight period.

You will work varied shifts 9:30pm–7:30am, 18+ hours per week, with overtime opportunities; experience in hospitality and strong communication are valued, and you will help maintain a safe, well-presented, premium residence.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering exceptional customer service within hospitality or accommodation.
• Hands-on approach to maintaining clean, safe spaces and presentation standards.
• Confidence using a range of digital systems and software to support day-to-day operations.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional and welcoming reception experience for residents, guests and visitors.
• Build positive relationships with residents, creating an approachable and supportive environment.
• Respond confidently to resident enquiries, offering guidance and practical support.
• Take ownership of challenges and concerns, delivering effective solutions.
• Manage and organise parcel deliveries accurately and efficiently.
• Act as the first point of contact for incidents or welfare concerns and escalate when required.
• Help maintain a safe, secure and welcoming atmosphere across the residence at night.
