Job summary

Vita Student in Exeter is seeking a night-time Customer Service Assistant to deliver a personalised resident experience during the overnight period. You will combine frontline reception with hands-on facilities support to maintain a safe, welcoming and well-presented home for residents.

Role requires flexibility across nights (9pm–6am), a minimum of 18 hours per week, and a proactive, service-focused approach to resolving enquiries and managing parcels.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering exceptional customer service in hospitality or similar environments.
• Hands-on approach to maintaining clean, safe spaces with attention to detail.
• Comfort using digital systems and software to support day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional reception for residents, guests and visitors.
• Respond confidently to resident enquiries with guidance and practical support.
• Carry out regular cleaning and checks to keep spaces welcoming, safe and resident-ready.
• Conduct block walks every 4–6 hours and report hazards.
• Replenish resident amenities and manage parcels.
• Ensure safety and a welcoming atmosphere across the residence during the night.
