Job summary

Marks & Spencer Plc is recruiting for a Customer Assistant in our Food section. You will be at the frontline of a busy UK retailer, delivering fast, friendly service during night shifts.

You’ll use Sparks and in-store devices to assist customers, stock shelves, and promote products while maintaining high standards of service and teamwork. Applicants must be over 18, flexible to work across areas, and comfortable with a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old due to health and safety regulations.
• Willingness to work nights and varying shifts.
• Flexible to work across different store areas.
• Comfortable using digital tools (Sparks and store devices).

Responsibilities

• Provide five-star service at pace on the shop floor.
• Sell and merchandise products while keeping shelves stocked.
• Engage with customers to meet demand and drive sales.
• Act as a brand ambassador delivering friendly, efficient service.
