Job summary

Gregory Distribution Ltd is seeking a professional driver to join our UK trunking operations. You will cover trunk runs from Heathfield to Birmingham, reload, and return to Heathfield, with cover for internal trunking when required.

The role requires a UK Class 1 CE Licence, valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph cards, and a customer‑focused approach. You should be reliable, deadline‑driven and a team player. We offer training, overtime and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK Class 1 CE Licence.
• Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
• Passionate about providing excellent customer service.
• Ability to work to deadlines.

• Good geographical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Trunking from Heathfield to Birmingham, reloading, and returning to Heathfield.
• Providing cover for internal trunking operations when required.
• Loading and unloading the vehicle while ensuring all loads are secure and compliant.
• Completing daily vehicle checks using your company-issued mobile device.
• Working closely with the network hubs to support efficient operations.
• Maintaining regular communication with the transport team to provide progress updates and help manage customer expectations.
• Attending scheduled training sessions to support ongoing development and compliance.
