Job summary

Nationwide Distribution is seeking Class 1 drivers for trunking duties at a busy depot with immediate starts. Afternoon and night shifts are available, and weekends may be worked.

A subsidized on-site canteen is provided, with 9 to 14 hour shifts and a guaranteed minimum of 8 hours per shift. Requirements include a UK C+E licence held for at least 12 months, a valid CPC and digital tachocard, and good English.

Qualifications

• Full UK (C+E) driving license required.
• Smart appearance and good knowledge of English.
• CPC and digital tachocard required.
• Ability to apply knowledge to the job and communicate effectively with staff and clients.

Responsibilities

• Complete collection and delivery of goods following procedures.
• Avoid hand balling and multi-drop; ensure safe securing of goods and in-order paperwork.
• Keep vehicle clean; follow security procedures; assist other staff as needed.
