Job summary

The Independent Schools Council is seeking an experienced Security Operations Supervisor to lead the Lodge and security teams during evening and night shifts, ensuring safe, professional operations across the College site.

As the senior on shift, you will oversee incident response, supervise staff, coordinate rotas and handovers, and support colleague development through guidance and feedback, with hours on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 18:30 to 22:30 and alternate Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

• Experienced security operations supervisor with night shift leadership.
• Ability to oversee incident response and security procedures.
• Strong communication and staff development skills.
• Experience maintaining records and reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day leadership and supervision of night Lodge and security team.
• Oversee security operations across the College site and staff briefing.
• Maintain high standards of performance, wellbeing and service delivery.
• Manage staffing, rotas, holidays and absences.
• Act as senior operational contact during night shifts and manage incidents.
• Ensure clear handovers between day and night teams and maintain records.
• Coordinate security for College events and activities.
• Support continuous improvement of Lodge operations and policies.
