Job summary

Proception is seeking a professional Security Duty Shift Manager to lead the security team and oversee safe, efficient estate operations. You will manage day-to-day security, respond to incidents, support your team, and ensure high standards of security, compliance and service are maintained.

This role features a 4 on 4 off pattern with night hours from 19:00 to 07:00, requiring proactive leadership and coordination with the Security Management team to safeguard people and assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a security environment.
• Supervisory/management experience.
• Experience with emergency preparedness and response procedures.
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Familiar with Access Control and CCTV systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the security team during shifts and allocate duties and patrols.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, alarms and evacuations per procedures.
• Oversee the Security Control Room, ensuring logs and documents are current.
• Monitor CCTV and security systems and relay updates to the appropriate teams.
• Provide guidance to officers and escalate to the Security Supervisor as needed.
• Conduct briefings, safety checks, and training exercises.
• Investigate incidents and prepare accurate reports.
• Utilise MyTAG and other systems to process security data.
