Job summary

Homeless Hostel Jobs by HHS Group in the West of England area is seeking a Night Security Concierge to cover our hostel sites in Yate and Bristol. The role requires a reliable, security-minded individual who can work independently or as part of a small team to ensure resident safety.

You will monitor access, respond to alarms, log daily occurrences, and maintain a compassionate, professional presence for residents. Flexible hours and opportunities for progression are available.

Qualifications

• Experience in security or concierge roles preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good customer service skills and strong communication.
• DBS check (Enhanced DBS) preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and professional presence to residents.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to alarms.
• Prevent breaches of security by unauthorized visitors.
• Incident management and incident logging.
• De-escalation of situations and conflict resolution.
• Complete Daily Occurrence Log.
• Show compassion and empathy toward residents.

We have ongoing job opportunies for a reliable and trustworthy Night Security Concierge to join our team in Yate and Bristol covering our Homeless Hostel Clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in a security or a concierge role and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming and professional presence to the residents of the Homeless Hostel.


• Monitor CCTV and respond to alarms


• Prevent breaches of security by unauthorised visitors


• Incident management and incident logging


• De-escalation of situations and conflict resolution


• Complete Daily Occurrence Log.


• Compassionate and empathetic approach to the residents.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Support, Health and Social Care (Ideal not essential)


• Enhanced DBS


• 1-2 years of experience in a similar role


• Good customer service skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Driving Licence and Own Vehicle
