Job summary

Heeton Hospitality UK is seeking a Night Receptionist for a central Manchester hotel. You will welcome guests, manage bookings, and deliver service that reflects our brand standards. This role involves night shifts, some lone working, and opportunities to assist with breakfast service.

You will be a brand ambassador with strong English skills, delivering courteous, proactive guest care and handling queries while supporting the night audit process.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in hospitality environments.
• Fluent English with clear communication.
• Willingness to work nights and adapt to changing demands.
• Knowledge of brand standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly to start their night with a memorable experience.
• Take and manage guest bookings, upsell where appropriate, and share local tips.
• Serve food and drinks in the bar/restaurant and maintain service standards.
• Conduct night audit and be capable of running a shift independently.
• Anticipate guest needs, record preferences, and handle requests and concerns.

Job description

The moment a guest steps into one of our hotels, they walk into a genuinely memorable experience. As a Night Reception, you'll not only be the person they rely on to handle transactions, offer local insights and anticipate every detail of a friction-free experience through the night. You'll also create the warm atmosphere that makes our guests feel at home in any location. Your day to day

• Be the warm welcome that kicks off a memorable guest experience
• Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities and telling them about ways to improve their stay
• Serve food and drinks in the bar and restaurant
• Start every stay right by swiftly checking guests following Brand Standards
• Running night audit and ability to run shift on your own
• Stay one step ahead of guests' needs - record and act on their preferences, and handle their messages, requests, questions and concerns
• May involve some lone working
• Be a trusted contact for all guests. Help them with anything from bill issues to local knowledge, and loop in management when necessary
• Stay safe all the time. Following our safety procedures, you will report all incidents and wear any protective gear needed
• Ensure all transaction as posted to rooms correctly and all payments follow the Heeton standard operating procedures.
• Take pride in your appearance and place as a brand ambassador
• Help support the team setting up and serving breakfast
• Jump into other ad-hoc duties when your colleagues need your help
