Iconic Hotels & Resorts in London is hiring a Night Receptionist to support night operations at The Mayfair Townhouse. The role focuses on guest check-ins, billing, and guest services during the night shift, with an emphasis on attentive service and seamless coordination with the team.

Ideal candidates will have prior night receptionist experience, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for hospitality. Training and development are available, with perks including meals on duty and staff discounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Night Receptionist role is ideal.
• Authorities in Opera/Opera Cloud desirable.
• Hotel/hospitality background preferred but customer service is key.
• Night shift capability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Night Manager and all departments on shift.
• Support early check outs and settle bills accurately.
• Assist with room service / light meals from the night menu.
• Cover reservation tasks when required.
• Record guest feedback and maintenance points for follow-up.
• Be familiar with fire training and drills.
• Communicate with the Duty Manager on night encounters.
• Maintain a courteous, friendly attitude to all guests.

About you as Night Receptionist

• Previous experience working in a Night Receptionist role is ideal to join our team!
• Previous Opera / Opera Cloud experience is desirable
• Hotel/Hospitality experience is desirable but a keen interest in customer service is more important for this role
• Confidence and motivation for working throughout the night is essential
• You will have keen eye for detail, organisational skills and confident in communicating with the team

Key Responsibilities of the Night Receptionist

• To assist the Night Manager and all departments when necessary on shift
• Support early check outs and organise settling bills ensuring payment is taken correctly
• Assist with room service / cooking light meals from night menu
• Be familiar with all reservation tasks in order to cover this role if required
• Record all relevant comments of appreciation, suggestions and maintenance points in order to initiate follow up
• Be confident with fire training and fire drill practices
• To communicate with the early Duty Manager on any ongoing encounters in the night
• Establish a courteous, helpful, and friendly attitude to all guests at all times
