Job summary

Travelodge Workington is seeking a friendly Night Reception Team Member for a part-time contract. You will welcome guests, check them in, and help run the hotel during the night shift. You may assist with housekeeping setup, breakfast prep, and occasional bar service.

No experience is required — we will coach you and help you grow. Enjoy benefits including room discounts, vouchers on anniversaries, and Aspire progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full coaching provided.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to night-shift routines.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and check them in and out.
• Patrol corridors and address noise or Eviction concerns as needed.
• Prepare housekeeping trolleys and assist with the breakfast service.
• Occasionally serve behind the bar to support guests.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as ‘FAB Fridays’ and ‘Housekeeping Heroes’. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you’ll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you’ll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times”
