Job summary

Travelodge Southampton is seeking a Night Reception Team Member on a Full Time contract. You will welcome guests, check them in, and help maintain a safe, friendly hotel environment in the overnight hours. The role involves setting up for the next day, stocking housekeeping trolleys, and occasionally serving at the bar.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive coaching is provided; there are opportunities for development through our Aspire Programme and various incentives.

Qualifications

• Welcomes guests at check-in and provides friendly, helpful assistance.
• Maintains a positive guest experience with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming guests and checking them in at night.
• Address noise complaints and evictions as needed.
• Prepare hotel for the next day: set up housekeeping trolleys and breakfast prep.
• Serve behind the bar when required.
• Support Aspire Programme and incentives to grow into management roles.

Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you’ll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you’ll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times"
