Job summary

Travelodge London City is looking for a Night Reception Team Member on a Full Time contract. You will welcome guests, check them in, and help prepare the hotel for the next day. The role includes occasional bar service and handling routine guest inquiries during night shifts.

No prior experience is required as training is provided. This is a great entry point into hospitality with opportunities for progression through our Aspire Programme.

Qualifications

• No experience required; full training provided.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends as part of a hotel team.
• Ability to welcome guests warmly and handle requests calmly.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and check them in during night shifts.
• Prepare hotel for the next day, including housekeeping trolleys and breakfast prep.
• Assist bar service when required and handle routine guest inquiries.
• Address noise complaints and assist with evictions when necessary.

We have regular rewards and recognition activities such as ‘FAB Fridays’ and ‘Housekeeping Heroes’. Your job will be welcoming the guests and checking them into the hotel, but you’ll also be walking the corridors at regular intervals and you may have to deal with things like noise complaints and evictions. Your other main responsibility is setting up the hotel for the next day, so you’ll be doing things like preparing the housekeeping trolleys, or prepping for breakfast service and even serving behind the bar at times”
