Job summary

Solent Hotel & Spa is seeking a Night Porter Supervisor to lead our Nights Team and ensure the smooth operation of the hotel overnight. You will supervise Night Porters, check in late arrivals, and help prepare breakfast areas, while maintaining security and calm under pressure.

You should be reliable, able to multi-task, and ready to take initiative. Previous supervisory experience is ideal, though full training will be provided; basic computer skills are advantageous.

• Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle problems as they arise.
• Reliable and responsible with good initiative.

Responsibilities

• Checking in late arrivals.
• Cleaning the property and setting up meeting/conference rooms.
• Arranging newspapers and wake up calls.
• Ensuring the building and guests are secure.
• Helping set the dining area for breakfast.
• Supervising Night Porters on shift.
• Ensuring your team operates efficiently and safely.
