Night Porter role involves warmly welcoming guests, logging late arrivals and early departures, coordinating with reception and housekeeping, and ensuring the overnight operation of our pubs and hotels is secure, comfortable, and seamless. You will perform wake‑up calls, arrange taxis when required, take and deliver room service orders, assist with bar duties, prepare meeting rooms, and contribute to excellent guest service through teamwork, faultless communication, and adherence

Night Porter Role and Responsibilities:

• Check in late arrivals and check out early departures in line with company procedures.
• Ensure thorough communication with all departments.
• Ensure that all tasks are completed on each shift and complete handover at the end of the shift.
• Ensure that wake up calls are made promptly and book any taxis for guests.
• Take room service orders and deliver to guests.
• Residents’ bar – preparing and serving drinks, cleaning duties.
• Have a thorough knowledge of the fire evacuation procedure and computer systems.
• Ensure site is secure and complete regular walk arounds throughout the shift.
• Set up rooms for meetings and private dining.
• Give personal attention, take personal responsibility and use teamwork to provide excellent guest service.
