Job summary

Royal Society of Medicine is seeking a friendly, reliable Night Porter to join the Front of House team at Domus Medica, the RSM's Club Hotel. The role covers night shifts, ensuring a welcoming guest experience while maintaining safety and security throughout the night.

The position is full-time, permanent, 40 hours per week, with a 4 days on / 3 days off pattern including night shifts and a salary of £30,784 per annum.

Responsibilities

• Providing a warm, professional and welcoming service to hotel guests, members and visitors throughout the night.
• Managing guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, cancellations and billing accurately and efficiently.
• Responding to guest enquiries, requests and concerns, ensuring excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintaining the safety and security of the premises by conducting regular security checks and monitoring building access.
• Ensuring reception, lobby and lounge areas are clean, tidy and presentable, and assisting with breakfast setup when required.
• Completing night-time administrative duties, including shift handovers, banking reconciliation and maintaining accurate records.
• Supporting fire safety and emergency procedures, including undertaking relevant Fire Marshal and First Aid training.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience.
