Job summary

Gist Limited is recruiting a Warehouse Section Leader to support the Night shift in our Thornbury operation near Bristol. You will coordinate activity, assist with resource planning, monitor KPIs and ensure safety and efficiency across the shift.

This hands-on operational role focuses on safe, accurate and timely movement of products, with close collaboration to the Warehouse Shift Manager to optimise performance and workflow.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse/logistics experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and provide direction.
• Experience using Microsoft Office for reporting.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (e.g., SAP).

Responsibilities

• Support daily resource planning and ensure correct staffing.
• Coordinate warehouse and outbound activity to move products on time.
• Monitor KPIs and support performance improvement.
• Produce operational reports using systems and MS Office.
• Assist with attendance and employee relations across the shift.
• Provide clear direction and training to new starters.
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed.
• Collaborate with other site areas for smooth handovers.
