Job summary

Superdrug Stores in Darlington is seeking an Operations Team Leader for the Savers Stead House DC. The role supports shift managers in daily operations, leading a team within a fast-paced distribution centre. You will drive performance, safety and efficiency across the shift, ensuring a cohesive, customer-focused operation.

The position offers a night shift pattern (22:00-06:00) from Monday to Friday, with a 40-hour week and opportunities for development within a large retail logistics network.

Qualifications

• Experience as a team leader or supervisor in a distribution environment.
• Strong planning, analytical and IT skills.
• Proven ability to manage people and drive performance.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of people management issues within area, engaging with shift manager and people team.
• Motivate, coach and develop a team to perform duties effectively.
• Own KPI reporting and communicate status to shift manager.
• Review and develop processes to maximise efficiencies and safety.
• Deliver effective shift handovers and updates on daily progress.
• Be an ambassador for health & safety practices across the team.
