Job summary

Superdrug is seeking an Operations Team Leader for the Dunstable DC, overseeing daily distribution centre operations, coordinating with Shift Managers, and ensuring safety and efficiency across a 40-hour week in a 5-out-of-7 pattern.

You will lead a team within a fast-paced environment, drive KPI performance, and support continuous improvement while modelling our values and ensuring high service to 600+ stores.

Qualifications

• Manages colleagues and coordinates with shift manager and people team.
• Motivates, coaches and develops a team to perform tasks efficiently.
• Owns KPI reporting and communicates performance to management.
• Continuously improves processes to maximise efficiencies.
• Ensures safety and safe systems of work are in place across the area.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of people management within area of responsibility.
• Motivate and coach team to perform duties efficiently.
• Accountable for KPIs within area and report status to shift manager.
• Review and develop processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with Health & Safety to implement risk assessments.
• Deliver seamless shift handover to oncoming team.
• Provide daily progress updates and address issues.
• Model company values and promote health and safety.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and deputise as Shift Manager when needed.
• Conduct team briefings as required.
