Job summary

Dalata Hotel Group is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to lead the night shift, ensuring smooth operations and top-tier guest service across our London-area properties. You will work closely with the Night Porters and front desk team to maintain brand standards and safety.

The role offers development opportunities through our Dalata Academy, mentoring from senior colleagues, and a pathway to advance within a growing hospitality group.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar night or reception role
• Excellent knowledge of the hotel business
• Previous hospitality experience is essential
• Good computer skills; Opera knowledge desirable
• Strong leadership and delegation abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth operation of the hotel during night shifts with high service levels
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving issues
• Maintain health and safety standards at night, including fire walks and security checks
• Perform front office duties, assist night audit, check-in/out processes
• Collaborate with Night Porters and oversee nightly tasks
• Provide food and beverage service during night hours
• Support the team with audits, feedback indexes, and quality evaluations
• Aid in developing the Night team for career progression
• Provide insights from nightly observations to improve operations
