Unite Group, operating Unite Students and Hello Student brands, is seeking a Night Operations Supervisor in Glasgow Central. You will lead night operations, ensure safety, manage the night team, and act as the escalation point for incidents and resident needs.

This hands-on leadership role requires quick decision-making, coordination of responses, and a commitment to delivering a consistent, high-quality resident experience overnight.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, property or operational environment.
• Experience supervising teams or leading others.
• Ability to manage incidents and operational issues calmly under pressure.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Organised, proactive and able to make decisions during shifts.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in property, residential or hospitality environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead night operations to keep the property safe, secure and well maintained.
• Supervise the night team, provide direction and maintain high service standards.
• Act as main escalation point for incidents and operational/safety issues.
• Respond to emergencies, coordinate resolutions, document actions.
• Perform safety checks and audits to ensure health and safety compliance.
• Monitor property standards and ensure communal areas are clean, safe and welcoming.
• Manage rotas and attendance for optimal coverage and resource use.
• Oversee contractor access and on-site activity, ensuring safe work conducted.
• Ensure smooth handovers with the day team and continuity of operations.
• Support residents with queries or concerns and maintain a supportive environment.
