Job summary

Unite Group operates Unite Students and Hello Student residences. A Safety Team Member is needed in Loughborough to keep students safe and welcome overnight, 3 nights per week shift pattern, 22:00–07:00. You will patrol, handle incidents, support residents and handovers with other safety teams.

The role offers a permanent contract with a salary of £19,230 plus bonus and benefits, reflecting a night-shift, customer-focused environment dedicated to residents' wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Be a friendly face and first point of contact for students who need support or reassurance overnight.
• Keep buildings and everyone in them safe, responding calmly to incidents or emergencies such as fire alarms, noise complaints, or maintenance issues.
• Help students feel welcome, respected and cared for - always treating everyone with empathy and professionalism.
• Work closely with day and night teams to ensure seamless service and handovers.
• Take pride in maintaining tidy, safe, and well-kept spaces.
• Support with wellbeing or welfare matters, noticing when something isn`t right and taking action to help.
• Be a brand ambassador, living CARE principles: Connect, Act, Respect, and Encourage.
