Job summary

Paragon Social Care Limited is seeking a Crisis Support Worker to assist a young person aged 11-17 with complex emotional and mental health needs. The role focuses on building trust, emotional safety, and promoting independence within a long-term, solo provision.

You will work to support routines, deliver therapeutic guidance, and liaise with external professionals to ensure coordinated care, while maintaining professional standards and safeguarding responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in trauma-informed support is preferred.
• Ability to work calmly with vulnerable young people.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living and routines to promote stability and wellbeing.
• Provide therapeutic support using trauma-informed techniques.
• Maintain accurate incident and contact records with safeguarding in mind.
• Participate in supervision, reflective practice and mandatory training.
• Transport the young person to appointments and activities as needed.
• Collaborate with CAMHS, social workers and emergency services.
