Job summary

Care in Mind is hiring a Mental Health Waking Night Support Worker at Cherryhurst Residential Service, Bromborough. The role is full-time (38.5 hours weekly) with night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays. A full UK manual driving licence is essential, and training will be provided.

Sponsorship is not available; right to work in the UK is required for the duration of employment. You will support young people aged 16–30 with mental health needs, help with daily living tasks, medication

Qualifications

• Essential requirement: Full UK Driving Licence (Manual) and ability to work night shifts including weekends/bank holidays.
• Desirable: NVQ Level 2 in Care or equivalent; experience with mental health needs.

Responsibilities

• Update online care records and hand over to day staff.
• Carry out medication administration as required.
• Support young people with daily living activities, meal prep and shopping.
• Respond to incidents calmly and assist with de-escalation.
• Maintain a safe, tidy home environment and complete required forms.
