Firmdale Hotels’ Haymarket Hotel in London seeks a dedicated Night Manager to oversee overnight operations across Events, F&B, Front Office, Housekeeping, and the Kitchen. You will act as the main liaison between guests, the General Manager and the operations team, ensuring service excellence and safety throughout the night.

The role requires previous Night Manager experience in a 5-star setting, strong leadership, and superb communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Night Manager or Head of Department in a 5-star hotel.
• Excellent communication skills with guests and staff.
• Strong leadership and motivational abilities.
• Resilient and proactive with a drive to get things right first time.
• Familiarity with Micros and Opera systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage the hotel’s overnight activities across departments to ensure seamless operation.
• Serve as primary point of contact between guests, the General Manager, and the team.
• Monitor and uphold high service standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Ensure safety and security of the hotel and guests during the night.
• Conduct regular health and safety inspections to maintain compliance.
• Respond promptly to incidents involving guests or staff.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and address guest needs professionally.
• Provide operational support across all departments as needed.
• Execute the night audit process and generate nightly reports for senior management.

As a Night Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient overnight operation of the hotel. This position requires a versatile individual who can adapt to various scenarios across multiple departments, including Events, Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and the Kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Manage the hotel’s overnight activities, ensuring all departments operate seamlessly.

What you Need

• Previous experience as a Night Manager or Head of Department in a 5-star hotel environment.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and staff.
