Job summary

North Wales Housing is seeking a Housing Support Officer Nights (Noddfa) in Colwyn Bay. The role is 24 hours per week, Fri and Sat nights, 9pm–9am, permanent contract. Salary £26,551 p.a.

pro rata. You will contribute to a trauma-informed, person-centred support service for residents, under the supervision of the Supported Housing Manager. Ideal candidates will maintain professional boundaries, understand safeguarding, and support vulnerable individuals with confidential handling of information

Qualifications

• Awareness of professional boundaries.
• Understanding safeguarding principles for children and vulnerable adults.
• Awareness of the support needs of vulnerable people.
• Experience working in a client-centred environment.
• Experience handling information confidentially.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of the building and residents.
• Act as first point of contact for incidents, liaising with staff and external services.
• Keep accurate records and hand over to staff as appropriate.
• Assist clients with housing and related benefits claims.
• Provide engagement activities to promote social inclusion.
