Zusammenfassung

YMCA Robin Hood Group is seeking a Night Duty Worker to support residents in a 16–24/25 setting and help keep the building secure in Bulwell. You’ll be the first point of contact, assist with rent queries, safety checks, and incident response.

Training and DBS updates are provided, with a focus on responsive, compassionate support during night shifts. Role covers varied tasks from support work to security, fire safety and admin, offering a path to develop in housing and youth-focused services

Qualifikationen

• Understanding the needs of young people aged 16–25 and support requirements.
• Experience or willingness to gain experience in housing support for vulnerable adults.
• Ability to deal with difficult situations with discretion and professionalism.

Aufgaben

• Provide advice and assistance to residents and act as first point of contact.
• Collect rent payments and explain tenant obligations and rights.
• Respond to fire alarms and emergencies; liaise with police and agencies when needed.
• Monitor building security, incidents, and general safety of residents and property.
• Support applications from prospective residents and signpost other services.
• Undertake facilities/domestic duties to maintain building upkeep.
