Job summary

Vertiq Hospitality Partners B.V. is seeking a Night Guest Services Representative for onefifty fenchurch, London. You will ensure smooth hotel operations overnight, perform the night audit, manage security, guest check-ins/outs, and handle switchboard duties, while maintaining high standards of service.

The role includes serving food and beverages, balancing cash, and ensuring accurate billing. Candidates should be flexible, detail‑focused and capable of working independently during night hours

Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel to the satisfaction of all guests
• Complete the night audit to fulfil audit and statistical information requirements
• Ensure the security of guests and hotel premises
• Carry out regular security checks with emphasis on safety
• Check guests in and out and assist with luggage
• Serve food and beverages to company standards
• Ensure revenue is correctly charged and money is securely kept
• Balance cash takings with the Opera cloud PMS settlements report and banking procedures
• Operate the hotel switchboard and handle calls per procedures
• Order and deliver newspapers and manage charging and controls
• Perform early morning calls as specified and maintain standards
• Maintain cleaning of public areas, bedrooms, and corridors
• Work in Food & Beverage pantry serving drinks
• Adhere to hotel/company regulations and policies
• Undertake special duties outside normal routine within scope of position

YOUR CORE PURPOSE WILL BE:

• To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the hotel to the satisfaction of all guests needs.
• The night audit is completed to fulfil all audit and statistical information requirements for the hotel.
• To ensure the security of hotel guests and hotel as a whole and to provide services for hotel guests.
• Carry out 2 security checks at regular intervals with special emphasis on security, fire, and safety.
• Check hotel guests in and out and assist with luggage when required.
• Serve food and liquor to company standards.
• Ensure all revenue is correctly charged and monies are securely kept.
• To ensure the total cash takings balance with the Opera cloud PMS settlements report and the receipt sheet and to complete the banking according to the correct procedure.
• Operate the hotel switchboard & deal with all internal and external calls, as per procedures.
• Order and deliver guest’s newspapers and correct charging and controls.
• Action early morning calls at the time specified and to the standards laid down.
• Cleaning of areas as requested, including public areas, bedrooms, and corridors as necessary.
• To work in a Food & Beverage pantry, serving healthy drinks and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages.
• To have a thorough knowledge of and adherence to the law with regards to the following company regulations.
• Undertake special duties or work outside the normal daily/weekly routine but within the overall scope of the position.
