Job summary

Hampton by Hilton Newcastle is recruiting a Guest Service Assistant to work night shifts. The role covers reception, bar and kitchen duties, with checking guests in/out and handling payments.

You will serve drinks and snacks and help prepare breakfast in a friendly, fast-paced hotel environment. Ideal candidates will have hospitality experience, be confident communicators, and bring energy and a positive attitude to the team.

Qualifications

• Hotel reception or similar experience in hospitality.
• Knowledge of hotel reservation systems.

Responsibilities

• Working across reception, bar and kitchen areas.
• Checking guests in/out and processing bills.
• Serving drinks and snacks.
• Preparing and serving food from a limited menu.
• Setting up the breakfast buffet.
• Overnight cleaning of the public areas.
• Assisting guests to create positive experiences.
• Complying with food safety, licensing and health & safety policies.
