Job summary

Hampton by Hilton Newcastle is seeking a Guest Service Assistant to work night shifts. The role is 16–24 hours per week across 2 or 3 shifts, including midweek, weekends and bank holidays. A confident communicator with personality is desired to join the team.

Experience in hospitality, ideally in a hotel, bar or restaurant, and knowledge of hotel reservation systems are preferred. The position offers a permanent contract and benefits through Hilton's Travel Program and Wellbeing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in the hospitality industry, ideally in a hotel, bar or restaurant.
• Knowledge of hotel reservation systems.

Responsibilities

• Work across departments including reception, bar and kitchen.
• Check guests in and out and manage bills and payments.
• Serve alcohol, soft drinks, hot drinks and snacks.
• Prepare and serve food from a small menu.
• Set up and serve the breakfast buffet.
• Overnight cleaning of public areas.
• Assist guests and create positive experiences.
