Job summary

Hampton by Hilton Newcastle is recruiting a Guest Service Assistant to work night shifts. The role covers reception, bar and kitchen duties, with checking guests in/out and handling payments.

You will serve drinks and snacks and help prepare breakfast in a friendly, fast-paced hotel environment. Ideal candidates will have hospitality experience, be confident communicators, and bring energy and a positive attitude to the team.

• Knowledge of hotel reservation systems.

Responsibilities

• Working across reception, bar and kitchen areas.

Hampton by Hilton Newcastle is recruiting a Guest Service Assistant to work Nightshifts.

The perfect candidate will have experience in the hospitality industry, ideally having worked in a hotel, bar or restaurant. This role is for 16-24 hours per week across 2 or 3 shifts and will include midweek, weekends and bank holidays.

Main Roles & Responsibilities

• Working across all departments of the hotel including reception, bar & kitchen.
• Checking guests in/out and managing bills & payments.
• Serving alcohol, soft drinks, hot drinks & snacks.
• Prepare and serve food from a limited simple menu.
• Prepare and set up the breakfast buffet.
• Overnight cleaning in the public areas of the hotel.
• Helping guests & creating positive experiences.
• Follow all food safety, licensing and health and safety policies to work safely.

You will have 'Hamptonality'
